Ingredients

  • 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 tbs lime juice
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup oyster salsa
  • ¼ cup shredded nappa cabbage
  • 1 breakfast radish, shaved
  • ¼ red onion, shaved
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 (6 oz) cod fillets
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 cups self-rising flour
  • 10 oz light beer
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oil to 360 degrees.
  • Combine eggs, flour, beer, and salt.
  • Dip each filet into the batter and let excess drip off before carefully submerging it in frying oil.
  • Fry fish until golden on each side.
  • Warm tortillas in the oven or a cast iron skillet.
  • Combine lime juice and sour cream.
  • Arrange fish, cabbage, radish, red onion, salsa, and lime crema over fish.
  • Top with cilantro, if desired.
