- 8 soft corn or flour tortillas
- 1 tbs lime juice
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup oyster salsa
- ¼ cup shredded nappa cabbage
- 1 breakfast radish, shaved
- ¼ red onion, shaved
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 (6 oz) cod fillets
- 2 eggs
- 1.5 cups self-rising flour
- 10 oz light beer
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oil to 360 degrees.
- Combine eggs, flour, beer, and salt.
- Dip each filet into the batter and let excess drip off before carefully submerging it in frying oil.
- Fry fish until golden on each side.
- Warm tortillas in the oven or a cast iron skillet.
- Combine lime juice and sour cream.
- Arrange fish, cabbage, radish, red onion, salsa, and lime crema over fish.
- Top with cilantro, if desired.
